SeeControl^TM  PREVENTS GUN STORE ROBBERY

Safe City has done it again. A robbery attempt was stopped in its tracks thanks to omniQ’s SeeControl^TM software in the hands of local authorities.

It was a day like any other in Watkinsville, GA. The sun was shining and the humidity was high. Only on this particular day, however, there was a plan afoot. A young man was driving a car that did not belong to him. Also in the car were several others, and it didn’t belong to any of them either.

The team drove through a busy Walkinsville intersection en route to the Shooters Den, a local gun store. Unbeknownst to the criminals, the car was caught on camera. Police use SeeControl^TM to detect anomalies and cross-referenced data with known alerts. The car they were driving belonged to an elderly woman, and this situation just wasn’t quite right. Police were alerted and investigated immediately.

They arrived on the scene just in the nick of time. It was quickly apparent what the individuals were there to do. The would-be perpetrators were apprehended before any harm was done.
