Procurement Manager

Procurement Manager – Manages all supply operations of products and services for our growing organization. This management role is key to our mission of supply chain optimization and vendor management. This role enables constant delivery efficiency through planning, forecasting, and maintaining proper inventory levels to ultimately provide the best customer experience possible.

The scope includes purchasing, operational reporting, end to end holistic procurement processes and support models, supplier contracts and associated processes of procurement and supply chain initiatives across the business. Drive the change towards a standardized and consistent approach to purchasing, system automation and streamlined processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage procurement strategies that promote scalability
• Source, engage, and grow base of suppliers and vendors for direct, indirect, or services procurement
• Develop and ensure the delivery of vendor relationship improvement initiatives and programs
• Work closely with finance team to continually build-out functionality and use of Netsuite ERP
• Own and manage all procurement related escalations
• Implement cost effective target operating model
• Drive continuous improvement, favorable pricing and payment terms from suppliers and vendors
• Own and manage purchase orders
• Operating to industry standards in terms of:
• Procurement strategy & planning
• Demand fulfillment
• Product and vendor compliance
• Procurement financial performance
• Policy management
• Ensures purchasing operational efficiency
• Drive continuous improvement and favorable pricing from suppliers and vendors
• Monitors industry and marketplace experiences with procurement and supply chain infrastructures and processes
• Oversees all procurement activity and ensures the desired timeline, resourcing, quality, and customer experience is achieved

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Procurement or Supply Chain Management
• Ability to operate at senior management level in terms of communication, reporting and presenting
• Strong service ethos
• Strategic planning, crisis management and problem-solving skills
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Experience in managing/developing and training procurement specialists
• Netsuite ERP experience a plus.

Salary Range: $65,000 – $70,000
