This month, we are excited to spotlight one of our dedicated team members, who has been a cornerstone of omniQ’s success: our omniQ Mobility Account Manager Claude LaBrasca.

Professional Evolution

Starting in 1999, Claude embarked on his journey with omniQ as an Account Manager/Sales Representative. His career at omniQ began uniquely—founded on a chance connection over a fax involving sought-after Telxon hand-helds, a moment that not only initiated a job offer but also set the stage for a career built on resourcefulness and timely opportunities.

With a background in Economics, he found his true calling in sales, where the ability to deeply connect with clients’ needs came to the forefront. His methodical approach to sales, which started with cold calling from resources like the White Pages and Thompson’s Business Directory, proved to be remarkably effective. This technique not only helped in building an initial customer base but also instilled a strong foundation for relationships that have lasted over decades.

Claude’s long-standing relationships with clients are a testament to his dedication and a reflection of his personal motto: “How can I help you?” This simple yet powerful approach has been a cornerstone of professional identity, fostering loyalty and trust that transcends typical business transactions. As Claude looks towards the future, his focus remains on ensuring these values are ingrained within omniQ, hoping to leave behind a legacy of enduring customer loyalty and service-driven business culture.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE

Away from the office, Claude finds tremendous enrichment in spiritual studies and loves spending quality time with family, including two daughters, son, and 3 grandchildren. This balance of professional dedication and personal passion not only reflects in his work approach but also enriches their interactions, bringing a deep understanding of people’s needs and energies to every professional challenge.

In both professional pursuits and personal interests, Claude is always aiming to make a significant impact and improve the lives of others. His advice to newcomers? Being part of the mobility sales team at omniQ comes with its unique set of challenges and rewards. The phrase “no rest for the wicked” humorously captures the non-stop nature of their daily routines, which often involve being swamped with quotes, phone calls, and order processing. Despite the hectic schedule, the team thrives in an environment that is anything but typical.

Role and Responsibilities

The team’s primary focus is on finding new customers and becoming their dedicated account managers for all aspects of mobile computing, printing, scanning, and beyond. They handle everything from labels to machinery to service agreements and software, collaborating closely with customers to tailor solutions to their specific needs.

Strategic Partnership and Flexibility

Working with industry-leading partners like Zebra, Honeywell, and Logitech, the team is well-equipped to offer cutting-edge solutions. The absence of a rigid corporate structure grants them the flexibility to explore innovative approaches, pursue new opportunities, and even venture beyond traditional products like scanners and handhelds.
